Hot on the heels of London Fashion Week, Glasgow's favourite fashion show and pop up boutique makes a welcome return in time for Spring. This March the 13th Bold Souls: Off The Catwalk returns to its spiritual home, Hummingbird, in Glasgow with 3 floors of award winning local fashion design. The wares will be showcased in both a ticketed fashion show and a pop-up shopping experience which will be an open door policy from 5.30pm until 9pm.
Off the Catwalk unites some of Scotland's most promising up and coming fashion talent. For the fashion show, local favourite Chouchou is joined by Scottish Fashion Award winner Joanne McGillivray, Scotland Re:Designed New Talent shortlisted Naromode, Vanilla Ink alumni jeweller Scarlett Erskine as well as fellow cult brands such as Rock and Royalty Couture, Spoiled Brat, Prints of Paradise and Danni McWilliams. From elegant sports luxe designs, beautifully illustrated prints to imaginative reworkings of traditional heritage fabrics, Bold Souls: Off The Catwalk guarantees a diverse collection of some of Scotland's freshest design houses and retailers.
Putting an end to fast fashion, Bold Souls: Off the Catwalk invites the public to their unique shoppable experience where they can chat to the designers, try on their favourite items and even have the opportunity to buy on the night. The evenings highlight will be an intimate fashion show within Hummingbird's decadent penthouse, with a limited amount of tickets available online for £10. The coveted tickets include a Kopparberg on arrival, mini burger, goody bag and of course the experience to view the new Spring/Summer collections in a unique Fashion Show starting at 7.30pm.
Fashion designer and organiser of Bold Souls, Silvia Pellegrino has been shaking up the local fashion scene with her unique series of events with a real focus on a collaborative and accessible production celebrating the best of Scotland's flourishing underground fashion scene. “What makes Bold Souls so unique is the people. On one hand the creatives are the real engine of the show but also everyone who supports it, writes and blogs about it. Our wish is that all people who are involved in our events always feel like they're part of a vibrant community and that they have the opportunity to learn, grow and be inspired!”
