Hello all you lovely Scottish folk! I’m Ellia and I run a fashion and lifestyle blog over at Robots Eating Roses. I’m here today with a Ways To Wear post to give you a few ideas on how to style this lovely peplum top from Primark.
I’m always quite conscientious of how much I spend on clothes and I’m a big believer in getting the most out of an item of clothing, so I hope this post will give you a few handy ideas on how an item can be styled for various occasions.
This first look is perfect for an evening out with friends. The great thing about this outfit is that you can make it as dressed-up or as casual as you please simply by changing up your footwear - strappy heels or boots for an evening look, or flat brogues for the daytime - or even just swapping nude tights for opaque ones.
This second outfit is the kind of thing that I would wear on a lazy Sunday when the sun is shining. The ripped mom jeans and trainers keep it comfortable and laid back, but the pretty floral pattern and style of the top add a contrasting feminine twist to the ensemble. Grab a leather jacket or cosy knit to throw on in the evening and you're good to go!
I love a bit of layering and I genuinely believe that any outfit is instantly improved by whacking a shirt underneath (with the possible exception of pyjamas). I'd wear this look to the office with a pair of flats and then switch to these stompy boots for post-work drinks, and maybe even a quick boogie if I’m feeling really crazy!
I am yet to find any top that you can’t pair with dungarees! They are the perfect piece of clothing to add a bit of fun to an outfit, and this final combo is ideal for a dressed down weekend look, whatever you have planned.
I hope this post has inspired you to try out some different outfit combinations and maybe even breathe some new life into an old piece. If you fancy seeing more outfit posts from me, head on over to Robots Eating Roses. I'd love to see you there! :)
Loving all these looks- I would never have been so creative! I've given your blog a follow on bloglovin' now :) Gisforgingers xx
