What will be the next in thing for Glasgow food-wise? with Food and Drink Glasgow

We’ve had pulled-pork, craft beer bars and burgers.  Is it now Mexican with the arrival of Topolabamba to join the ranks of Juan Chihuahua, Pinto and the expansion of Taco Mazama? Or is it the rise of the grill with Marco Pierre White soon to reach town at Hotel Indigo giving the cities steakhouses and Brazillian meat restaurants a run for their money?

With the soon to be arrivals of Five Guys, Byron and Gourmet Burger Kitchen it seems that the burger love hasn’t finished – will Glasgow be burger’d out?  It is handy that they are all within staggering distance so if you can’t get into one, there’s always another along the road.

Will these big guns strangle the locals such as Buddy’s, Dennistoun BBQ and Smoak?  Or will the standard of burgers increase as the range increases?  Will the competition mean that prices will become more competitive? We’ll just have to wait and see.

Whatever is the latest newest craze for foodies in Glasgow, we are sure to give them a go and if it’s rotten, we aren’t shy of letting them know!
